The dioramas in the exhibits give an impression of the countryside so typical ofsouthern Limburg.
Not as good as the real thing, of course...
but they provide an excellent way of displaying a number of species, as in the dioramas of water birds, the 'Mergelland' sheep and ponds,
accompanied by relevant information.
This should make a trip to the real Limburg countryside all the more rewarding ...
