While updating the museum's interior each geological stage has been assigned its own colour.
A colour corresponding to that of the most important rocks of that stage.
The first hall on this tour is dark (anthracite) and devoted to the Carboniferous,
followed bij the Cretaceous ('mergel'-yellow)
